After gaining qualifications in massage therapies in 2009, I was inspired to further my knowledge of human anatomy and physical therapies. I was drawn towards training as an Osteopath due to my own personal experience of how much it helped me when I started to experience back pain due to my postures whilst playing the Double Bass and studying for my degree in Mathematics.
I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in London with a Master’s degree, during which time I also gained qualifications in Sports Massage, myofascial release, kinesiology taping and Still osteopathic technique.
Over the years, I have worked regularly with amateur athletes at endurance events which take me abroad throughout the year. I have worked with several charities including Bloodwise, MyelomaUK, Cure Leukemia and The Royal British Legion.
My own sporting interests include CrossFit, weightlifting and yoga and I work regularly fitness enthusiasts, many of whom are also full time office workers. This has led to a particular interest in injury recovery, improving mobility and range of motion, and addressing postural issues.
I started working with the team at CrossFit Aldgate in 2015, and moved over to their new premises on Alie Street in 2018, where I currently work four days a week. I am also Resident Osteopath at the prestigious Urdang Academy in Angel, North London where I help support young dancers in the early stages of their careers.
I work with my patients to find the most suitable and effective management plan that will be tailored to their needs and lifestyle. I aim for my patients to have a clear understanding of their problem and give them the tools they need to help themselves.
I’m registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
